A video for the beginner, the overweight person, or the individual simply wanting to get in shape
Starting a regular exercise program can be a daunting prospect. but in her new video, fitness instructor Cindy Lee Hanawalt presents a moderate-intensity, low-impact workout that combines aerobic and muscle conditioning exercises she specifically designed as an entry level fitness program.
"What makes this video so accessible is that it's easy to follow and it doesn't require an assumed level of fitness. The workout has been carefully choreographed to provide an effective training program for everyday people, "says Cindy Lee. "The aerobic exercises in the video utilize large muscle group movements without placing excessive stress on the knees and lower back. This video also includes muscle strength and conditioning exercises to enhance muscle tone on both the upper and lower halves of the body."
Instructor/researcher/author Cindy Lee Hanawalt received her Ph.D. in Preventive Medicine and Environmental Health in 1994 and immediately began developing a nationally syndicated educational television course for William C. Brown Publishers called "Health for Living." She is currently in medical school working toward her M.D.
